Camp PhotoOne activity that has always been the highlight of every cadet's year are the annual camps. There are two types of annual camp, those to RAF stations in the UK, and overseas camps.

Each year cadets from the squadron go away for a week at Easter, in the autumn and during the summer with other cadets from Surrey Wing to an active RAF station in the UK. On these camps cadets get to experience the RAF way of life, living in barrack blocks and eating in the junior ranks mess. They also get to take part in many activities such as flying, shooting, section visits, work experience, adventure training, swimming, and other fun things.

Overseas camps take cadets to British bases overseas such as those in Germany, Cyprus and Gibraltar. There are fewer cadet places on these camps, and cadet have to have been on a UK camp and be older that 15 to be eligible to attend.

The is also camps overseas for a select few cadets on the International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE) programme. Cadets from the UK join other air cadets from countries such as the US, Canada, France and Hong Kong on a camp in one of the participating countries.
