HockeySport plays a key role in the Air Training Corps as it does in the Royal Air Force. Most sports are played right up to national level, although there are some that are only played at a squadron or wing level. Cadets that are good enough go on to represent their Wing, Region and even the Corps, receiving a wing/region/corps blue in recognition.

Although the sports are competitive simply taking part is encouraged as points going towards overall squadron trophies are awarded to every competitor completing the event. This means that everyone can do their bit for the team.

At Wing level there are inter-squadron compeittions for the following sports:

 - 5-a-side football
 - Athletics
 - Swimming
 - Cross-country running

With all other sports the cadets attend Wing trials for selection to the Wing team.

In recent years the squadron has had cadets represent Surrey Wing in:

 - Athletics
 - Swimming
 - Cross-country running
 - Rugby

Also one cadet has represented London & South East Region twice in the inter-region cross country running competition.
