17 DEC 04 - XMAS DINNER

47 cadets, staff and guests attended this year's squadron dinner held at Victory College in the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.  The evening started with a group photograph before a three course formal dinner.  The after dinner speaker was John Robinson, a former RAF parachute instructor, who gave a most enjoyable and motivational speech about his experiences.  Everyone then danced the rest of the night away with a disco.

21 NOV 04 - Surrey Wing Cross Country

The squadron's only success at the wing cross country this year was a bronze medal for Cdt Brewer in the junior girls competition.  She has been asked to represent Surrey Wing at the L&SE Region competition for a second year running.

14 NOV 04 - Remembrance Sunday

39 cadets plus two adult staff paraded in Camberley for this year's Remembrance Sunday.

13 NOV 04 - Poppy Collecting

The squadron had a good turn out of cadets for this year's poppy appeal, selling poppys in Camberley Town Centre and Lidls and Aldi in Blackwater.  We are still waiting for the amount collected.

07 NOV 04 - Surrey Wing Rugby

Cadet Corporals Willows and Stovell were selected for the Surrey Wing Senior Boys Rugby team.  Both played for the wing and were awarded Wing Blues.  Cpl Willows has now been selected for the Region team.

03 OCT 04 - Surrey Wing Field Day 2004

The squadron had mixed fortune at the Wing field day at ATR Pirbright.  The drill team came 5th out of 8 in west area. The aircraft recognition team of Cdt FS Marsh, Cdt Sgt Tester and Cdt Bull gained second place.  Cdt Sgt Hoare won the photographic competition in the over 16s aviation catergory with a picture of a Red Arrows wing top briefing and Cdt Cpl Willows won the Aeromodelling Diorama competition.

02 OCT 04 - L&SE Region Swimming Competition

Cdt Horncastle won a silver medal in the senior boys medley relay as part of Surrey Wing's team.  Surrey Wing came first overall.  He has now won 18 sporting medals at wing and region levels in his two years with the squadron.

19 SEP 04 - Biggin Hill Airshow

Cadets from 1075 sqn joined other cadets from Kent wing in helping man the flight line at the Biggin Hill airshow.  Cadets also guarded the static aircraft and assisted at the entrance to hostpitality tents.

18 SEP 04 - Surrey Wing Swimming Competition

The senior boys freestyle relay team won silver and Cdt Horncastle won bronze in the senior boys freestyle.  

05 SEP 04 - South West Trains Family Day

Cadets from the squadron helped South West Trains with their family fun day at Wellington Country Park. The cadets got to experience the rides at the fun fair and play the side shows before helping to clear the site at the end of the day.

AUG 04 - Parachuting Course

Cpl Ridley completed an ATC parachuting course at Weston-on-the-Green with cadets from across the country.

26 JUL 04 - Nijmegen Marches 2004

Cdt Cpls Stovell and Willows completed the annual 4 day march as part of the Surrey Wing Team, organised by Flt Lt Partridge

24 JUL 04 - That makes three

Sgt Tester has now completed the cadet leadership course (course 102) at CTC, Frimley Park.  He also carried the ATC banner at a parade attended by the Lord Lieutenant of Surrey.

10 JUL 04 - Two cadets on Course 100

Sgt Marsh and Cdt L Willows both successfully completed the Cadet Leadership Course at the Cadet Training Centre, Frimley Park. The course was the 100th run for air, army and sea cadets.

10 JUL 04 - Summer Camp RAF Odiham

Six cadets attended a weeks summer camp at RAF Odiham with other Surrey Wing cadets. The highlight of their week was a flight in a Chinook helicopter.

27 JUN 04 - Squadron Annual Inspection 2004

JUN 04 - Cpl Hoare gets Silver Wings

Cpl Hoare completed his gliding scholarship course at RAF Odiham, going solo in the Vigilant glider. He has now been asked to become a staff cadet at 618 VGS and will also work towards AGT gold wings. 

23 MAY 04 - Success at Wing Athletics

Cadets won 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals plus a silver in the junior boys 4x100m relay.

16 MAY 04 - RAF 2-Day March

4 cadets & the CO successfully completed the RAF 2 day march at RAF Cosford. 

09 MAY 04 - Cadets on Personal Awareness Course

Sgt Marsh and Cdt Ridley attended the Personal Awareness Course at the RAF Chaplaincy centre, Amport House 

APR 04 - Wing 6-a-side football

Junior Boys team made the quarter finals of the Wing 6-a-side football
